Hampton Plantation Rice Trunk ProjectPlease take a moment and enjoy this project profile video of a very unique project we completed last summer. The project site was Hampton Plantation in Charleston county on the banks of the South Santee river near Georgetown SC. The scope included clearing the entire rice dike of old growth trees and root balls, widening by 8', constructing a functioning rice trunk onsite, installation, and landscaping without disturbing any archaeological artifacts. During excavation we found many parts of an old trunk including several with wooden pegs holding them together. Turn up your volume and enjoy!
